Online Abstract Submission

The online abstract submission form is now closed. The deadline for submitting late-breaking abstracts was August 12, 2004.

By submitting an abstract, the author or authors agree that, if accepted, the paper will be presented as scheduled.

The poster sessions are an important aspect of the scientific program as they promote greater interaction between the researcher and other scientists. Organizers have increased the time provided to view posters and converse with their authors. Two, 2-hour sessions with snacks and beverages have been scheduled. Additionally, each afternoon symposium session has been designed to incorporate three fifteen-minute proffered talks to be chosen from the accepted abstracts.

All accepted abstracts will be published in the special meeting issue of Molecular Imaging. The online abstract submission form (which is the only method of abstract submission available) has been developed to allow inclusion of tables and graphics that we hope will enhance the special meeting issue of Molecular Imaging. Abstracts are limited to 300 words maximum (each table or graphic counts as 25 words toward the 300-word maximum). In addition to the published abstracts that will come out at the time of the meeting, each participant will receive a final program and abstract book with an index of authors in a convenient format for carrying around at the meeting.

Abstracts should address one or more of the following topics:

  • Linking Imaging, Proteomics & High Throughput Screens
  • Instrumentation & Computational Challenges in Molecular Imaging
  • Advances in PET and SPECT Radiochemistry
  • Tracking Infectious Agents & Imaging Host Response
  • Imaging Markers of Cardiovascular Disease
  • Optical Tomography & Low Light Imaging
  • Probe Design: Novel Activation Strategies
  • Imaging Advanced Animal Models of Disease
  • Oncogenesis, Angiogenesis & Disease Progression
  • Methods of Multimodality Imaging: Fusion Instruments & Software Solutions
  • Imaging in Drug Discovery and Development
  • Advances in Clinical Molecular Imaging
  • Enhancing Delivery and Traversing Barriers
  • Chemistry of Multifunctional Probes
  • Gene Therapy & Advanced Vector Design

All presenters need to register for the meeting. An online registration form is available on the meeting registration page. The online abstract submission form is completely separate from the online registration form so please do not forget to register.
