Synopsis: At the SNM 55th Annual Meeting in New Orleans, LA, you will connect with over 3,900 medical practitioners, scientists, physicists, pharmacists and technologists involved in nuclear medicine and molecular imaging from around the globe. - Cancer Research Imaging Camp - June 15-20, 2008: Duke Center for In Vivo Microscopy Durham, North Carolina
Postdoctoral fellows and early career-level faculty in fields related to basic cancer biology are invited to apply for a special intensive course on in vivo and live cell-imaging techniques. Through lectures and hands-on laboratory sessions, participants will gain experience with a wide range of imaging modalities, including advanced optical imaging, MRI, PET, SPECT, CT, and ultrasound. After this course, participants will be able to select and apply the appropriate in vivo imaging technique necessary to investigate a biological hypothesis and to interpret the resulting imaging data. Attendance is strictly limited to invited participants.

Recognizing that funds to support the travel of young investigators for the purpose of reporting their research results are very limited, the RSNA has established the RSNA Travel Awards for Young Investigators in Molecular Imaging: up to 15 awards of $1000 will be available for eligible candidates invited to present high-quality science. The abstract submission deadline is April 15, 2008.
