  • Biophotonics International magazine delivers a unique global insight into the photonic products and techniques that solve problems for researchers, product developers, clinical users, physicians and others involved in the fields of medicine, biology and biotechnology. Readers will find the information they need to apply the latest in imaging, optics, lasers, microscopy and many other light-based techniques to their work, but Biophotonics International takes it even further by completing the picture with coverage of techniques like MRI and electron microscopy that may not traditionally be thought of as photonic. It is published monthly and distributed free to those who use or apply photonics.

  • Biophysical Journal - Every month, scientists across the globe turn to Biophysical Journal in-print and on-line for timely research, including original articles, letters, and reviews on molecular, cellular and general biophysics. This top-rated, peer-reviewed journal publishes original research covering a broad range of areas, including: bioenergetics, biophysical theory/modeling, cell biophysics, channels/receptors/transporters, electrophysiology, membranes, muscle and contractility, nucleic acids, photobiophysics, proteins, spectroscopy (imaging), and supramolecular assemblies.

  • Cancer Biology and Therapy - Cancer Biology and Therapy is a peer-reviewed journal which publishes original research on the molecular basis of cancer, including articles with translational relevance to diagnosis or therapy. We include timely reviews covering the broad scope of the journal. The journal also publishes Commentaries, Bedside-to Bench Reports, Research Philosophy and meeting reports of interest. The goal is to foster communication and a rapid exchange of information through expedient publication of important results using traditional, as well as electronic, formats. The journal and the outstanding editorial board strive to maintain the highest standards for excellence in all activities to generate a valuable resource. We are pleased to have the participation of Dr. Ralph Weisleder as our Associate Editor in the area of "Tumor Imaging," and we welcome manuscript submissions in this emerging field. Accepted manuscripts are posted to the website rapidly. For original Research Articles, the average total time from initial submission to on-line publication for the first 25 accepted manuscripts (Volume 1, Issues 1-3, 2002) was 38 days. This included a re-review of revised manuscripts in some cases where the time was longer because authors performed additional experiments.

  • Journal of Nuclear Cardiology - Journal of Nuclear Cardiology is the only journal in the world devoted to this dynamic and growing subspecialty. Physicians and technologists value the Journal not only for its peer-reviewed articles, but also for its timely discussions about the current and future role of nuclear cardiology. Original articles address all aspects of nuclear cardiology, including interpretation, diagnosis, imaging equipment, and use of radiopharmaceuticals. The Journal carries a special section titled Topics in Molecular Biology in each issue. As the official publication of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, the Journal also brings readers the latest information emerging form the Society's task forces and publishes guidelines and position papers as they are adopted. Journal of Nuclear Cardiology is included in Index Medicus, Science Citation Index, Current Contents/Clinical Medicine, and SciSearch.

  • The Journal of Nuclear Medicine - The Journal of Nuclear Medicine is the most widely read peer-reviewed journal in nuclear medicine and its allied disciplines. No other publication approaches the JNM’s scope and coverage of nuclear medicine science, research, and news. It remains the first choice for publication among the discipline’s leaders in research and has an ISI impact factor of 4.684, is in the top 5% of all 5,748 scientific serials rated, and is ranked third based on immediacy index out of the 81 journals included in the category of radiology, nuclear medicine, and medical imaging. Every month, JNM brings its readers clinical investigations and basic science articles on advances in the field, continuing education, and book reviews. JNM is a benefit of membership in the Society of Nuclear Medicine, but individual and institutional subscriptions are available. For subscription information visit http://www.snm.org/about/new_pubs_1.htmlFor more information about becoming a member of the Society of Nuclear Medicine visit www.snm.org.
