Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International (JDRF)

American Asthma Foundadation Research Program

Application Receipt Deadline: February 4, 2010 (for funding July 1, 2010)

The American Asthma Foundation Research Program (formerly SPAR) is seeking outstanding investigators from all fields, including imaging, who are interested in the freedom to pursue cutting-edge ideas with a 3-year award of up to $750,000. The goal is to develop entirely new approaches to research in asthma - including new approaches to lung imaging. Scientists with no prior experience in asthma research are encouraged to apply, to bring new perspectives to the field.

The application is brief, and preliminary results are not required to apply.
